Hiring the Goods

We offer a bespoke service to cater for all your party needs with our extensive and beautiful mix of vintage wares to give your event the elegance of a bygone era. Our China is all genuine English Fine Bone China, each piece is carefully chosen and in pristine condition, We clean and damage check every piece, each hire to ensure top quality for you every time.

You can choose from one of our specially prepared ‘Party Packages’ or select from our individual items on our price list to suit your exact requirements.

We offer a ‘DIY Party Pack’ service (minimum of 4 people) whereby you can collect from us a carefully prepared box with everything you will need to create an afternoon tea party in the comfort of your own home. We can also deliver and collect party packs at an added cost.

In addition if you are looking for the ultimate experience We offer a ‘Set-up’ service so you can sit back and enjoy your event whilst we do all the work.

Catering. If you are looking for a catering service along side your hire requirements, We have a select and varied group of friends/colleagues that we can highly recommend. We can liaise with them for ideas, prices etc on your behalf. We are happy to liaise with your own caterer if you have one, to help deliver your perfect event.

. The prices listed are for one days hire, which covers 3 days (eg. delivery, your event, collection).

. All items remain the property of Time For Tea at all times.

. To secure your booking we require a 25% non-refundable order fee. (Cancellation charges of 25% will apply by way of a non-refundable order fee).We accept Bank Transfer and Cash Payments.

. 14 days prior to the date of delivery We will contact you to finalise arrangements We will Issue your invoice at this point.

. 7 days prior to the delivery date The remaining balance is due. (Cancellation charges of 100% will apply by way of your paid balance).

. If you decide you would like additional items after the balance is paid, please let us know and we will try to accommodate where possible.

. Due to the nature of vintage items, there may be signs of wear, such as to guilt, but there will be no chips or cracks to the china.

. A Printed Inventory of hired items will be enclosed with the hire items, this will need to be signed by the hirer and ourselves at the point of delivery and collection.

. All items hired from Time for Tea remain the responsibility of the hirer, including if left at other premises, until return or collection. This includes loss or breakage.

. Time for Tea will accept no responsibility in the event of any injury or damage caused by the hire equipment.

. A damage deposit is required by separate payment, 2 days before the event, and will be refunded when all items have been returned undamaged. The damage deposit is £50 for orders up to £200 and £75 for orders above £200. You are liable for any loss, breakages, cracks or chips of any crockery or goods. The deposit must be paid by bank transfer and will be refunded by bank transfer within 48 hours of collection or return. If something goes missing, damaged or broken the following charges apply.

We reserve the right to increase the damage deposit on orders where we outsource services on your behalf.
